MASTERCLASSES
Jack Mac is an experienced workshop coordinator, having led many sessions for students of all ages and experiences. With a background in both Jazz and Classical traditions, paired with his many years of teaching experience, Jack Mac has a keen understanding of instructing and developing students in their musical development. Jack is currently one of the lead tutors for the Black Mountain Jazz Club's youth workshop series, the BM Jazz Katz. Get in touch if you would like Jack Mac to run a workshop or masterclass for you.
BMJazz Katz is a workshop project which gives people aged 11 to 19 years the opportunity to learn to play together in a big band. Open to those who play any instrument, including voice, to a 'reasonable level' for their age, new members are always welcome. This is an amazing opportunity for kids who want an exciting and welcome space to share and present their musical passions.
